“Jeff was a student of mine from 2009 – 2012 while studying for his Master of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary. I also served as one of his senior thesis advisors. In his focus in Christian Social Ethics, he took several of my social justice classes and did exemplary work. It was not a surprise to me that Jeff co-founded a prison ministry based on the work he did in my classes studying refugee and liminal communities, the underground economy, and the marginalized and oppressed.“
